Ladybird, Ladybird

Ladybird, ladybird, fly away home,

Your house in on fire and your children are gone,

All except one and that's little Ann,

For she crept under the frying pan.

Traditional rhyme

(Ladybirds are seen in garden in Britain in the warm summer months and are most commonly red with black spots. This rhyme is tradionally chanted when one of these pretty little insects lands on a person.)
